Gym Rules:

All coaches are completely responsible for having the kids follow these rules. You are in command during your practice time.

Any complaints that reach the Athletic Board will result in the forfeiture of your practice time.

For all Practices:

Please be aware of the time you are given. If for any reason you cannot make the practice time scheduled, inform Mark as soon as you can. If you need to reschedule a practice time or would like to flip flop with another team, you may do this on your own, just contact the other coaches, but afterward please contact Mark so he can update the information on the web site and for his records.

Before the start of your practice, keep the noise down and don't let your kids run around and dribble basketballs.

Please respect the other team practicing in front of you. Also, when your time is up let the other team have the floor. Respect each other's time and space and things will run smoothly.

Parents should wait to ensure that you have gained access to the gym. Schedules change and sometimes we cannot get into the building.

All boys should be picked up by their parents and should not be allowed to run around outside until their parents are there to pick them up. Do not leave until all of the kids have been picked up by their parents.

St. Pats:

Do not arrive more than 10 minutes early. Do not interfere with the practice that is in session.

Coaches who have the first practice time of the day should go to the rectory and get the key to open the gym door. Open the door and make sure the door is locked again before returning the key.

After opening the door, or after that practice, that coach should return the key. If the lights are not on in the gym turn them on from the electric box on the stage. Turn on the first 15 odd-numbered switches on the upper left. Check the area for any damage or mess that preceded basketball practice, take note and report it to the Mark, otherwise it will be blamed on you.

Boys should not be allowed leave the gym area without Coach's supervision.

After practice please deposit empty bottles into the waste cans. If you have the last practice make sure all empty bottles and trash is deposited in the waste cans, check the area over for any loose balls or practice equipment. Turn off the lights and make sure all doors are locked and shut.

Public Schools:

First practice should get there 5 minutes early to open gym.

A public school employee will open the door before the first 6 p.m. practice time. If no one is there at that time, the gym will remain closed for the night. So if you have the 6 p.m. time and cannot make it, you must call the Mark and let him know. If the gym is not open or if it appears no one is around to open the door, do not attempt to open the school yourself or knocking on all the windows and doors around the school. Call Mark and he will contact the cleaning company and have the doors unlocked.

Coaches are responsible for the kids while you are in the school. Stay near the gym area and restrooms; DO NOT let the kids run throughout the school, inside or outside. If a silbling attends a practice, he/she must be INSIDE the gym, not in the hallway bouncing a ball.

Krueger Park:

Your practice time does not start any sooner then the scheduled time, do not ask or expect to be let inside the gym early.

No siblings. Players and Coaches Only !!

All coaches must check in with the facility director who will be present. No Soda, Gatorade type drinks or other colored beverages are allowed in the gym area, only Water. No hard sole shoes should be worn while inside the gym area. Bring sneakers or basketball shoes to wear (that goes for coaches especially since the kids will have basketball shoes on anyway). Make sure the kids do not mess up the rest room.

Don't let the kids sit on the bleachers if they are 'up'.

Please follow these rules, we've worked to hard to receive playing time in this facility, to lose it because we cannot follow some simple rules would be a shame.
